Derbyshire – radical disabled people’s organisations

There is a rich history in Derbyshire of radical campaigning by disabled people, including the creation of the first Coalition of Disabled People in Britain (1981) and one of the first CILs – a centre for independent / integrated / inclusive living (1985).
